What can I expect during the treatment?

We will provide you with protective eyewear. After the skin is cleansed and coated with a cool gel, a chilled applicator will be placed on your skin to deliver BroadBand Light therapy to your entire face with a series of pulses. BBL photofacials target the upper layers of your skin, stimulating your cells to produce new collagen. Different filters are used to target different skin conditions.

Are BBL photofacials painful?

BBL photofacials are well tolerated skin laser treatments, though you may experience some discomfort in the more sensitive areas of your face, such as your cheeks and the area below your nose. Cold air is used to provide extra comfort, and a topical anesthetic may be applied 45 minutes prior to treatment if necessary to ensure your treatment is as comfortable as possible.

When can I see results from my aesthetic treatment?

Results from each treatment can often be seen after two weeks. You can expect dark spots to get gradually darker over the next several days, but these will fall away on their own within two weeks after your treatment.

Is there any downtime?

You’ll enjoy no downtime with BBL photofacials. You can expect redness and mild swelling for a few days, but makeup can be applied immediately after the procedure. It will be necessary to wear sunscreen daily for four weeks before and after BBL treatments to protect your skin and maintain your results.
