Botox & Xeomin

How do Botox and Xeomin work?

Xeomin is often used to treat glabellar frown lines (the deep wrinkles between your eyes on your forehead). It acts on nerve endings in muscles to prevent muscle fibers from contracting.

How long will it take to see results?

Botox and Xeomin results are usually evident within one week. In Xeomin clinical trials, some patients observed visible smoothing as early as three to four days after injection, with full effects occurring at two weeks for both Xeomin and Botox.

How long do the effects last?

Most patients enjoy results of Botox or Xeomin for three to four months.

What else can Botox treat?

Botox is also approved for hyperhidrosis, or severe underarm sweating. Results for this treatment can last up to six months.

How long will myprocedure take?

Botox and Xeomin injections are performed in our office, usually without anesthesia. Patients may experience some minimal discomfort from the needle injection. Depending on the extent of treatment, it can take a few minutes up to 20 minutes. Generally, patients can return home shortly after the treatment is complete.
